Ready or not

This will be my first attempt at creating a blog page as well as writing one. I hesitated before because as many of you know I am not very good at keeping up with these types of things. I envy you who do so well at it. I was also concerned that my little rants would be boring and of no interest to many of you but here we go anyway and at the very least my husband can read them. The things we do for each other when we're in love. Anyway, I start this blog on a day that I have 6 kids running around. I am watching 2 little girls who are 2 and 1 and our neighbors girl who is 7 and of course my gang of 5, 3 and turning 2. It's been fun! These last few weeks have been crazy. Ben started his new job with Aramark and I have been teaching Bradley Method Natural Childbirth classes. Elijah has been sick or teething and Loryn seems to think she is better off glued to me than anything else. Gotta love them. Caleb graduated from Preschool almost a month ago. I have some pictures of his graduation but don't ask me where the picture is of him shaking the hand of his teacher as receives his graduation letter. Mom let herself get distracted talking with someone and missed it. What a great mom I am! The one of many mistakes I am sure I will make. Ben and I took Caleb out to lunch at P.F. Changes where he tried using chopsticks for the first time (see picture) and then for ice cream. We had a babysitter for the other rug rats. We had fun. Caleb will be starting kindergarten in the fall. We preregistered him recently and I believe he is excited. I don't know if I am ready. My baby is leaving the home for 5 days a week all day. It seems like the older you get the faster time goes. It also seems like when you have a trip to go on the next day or have to get ready for lets say your Bradley class the next day. The night before one of the kids is up all night. Since I have started teaching Bradley classes which I teach on Tuesday nights, Monday night Elijah has been up all night long with something or another wrong with him. Its like they know. Anyone else experience this? It also seems to happen when we have to get up really early to take a long drive. Same thing. Well, check out the pics of Caleb and his graduation. Isn't he cute!
